Educational Qualification

Junior Hindi Translator:
✔️ Master’s in Hindi with English as a subject or exam medium
✔️ Diploma/Certificate in Translation OR 2 years’ translation experience in a Central/State Govt. office

Junior Secretariat Assistant (General/Finance & Accounts/Stores & Purchase):
✔️ 10+2 (or equivalent)
✔️ Typing Speed: 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi
✔️ Must be proficient in computer use as per DoPT norms

Junior Stenographer:
✔️ 12th pass (10+2) or equivalent with stenography skills as per DoPT norms.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern IMT Recruitment 2025

Selection Process/Exam Pattern

🔹 Junior Hindi Translator
Candidates will appear for a competitive written exam with two papers. Only those scoring minimum marks in Paper-I will have Paper-II evaluated. Final merit will be based solely on Paper-II marks.

🔹 Junior Secretariat Assistant (Gen/F&A/S&P)
Eligible candidates will undergo a written test (Paper-I: Mental Ability, Paper-II: General Awareness & English). Paper-II is evaluated only if Paper-I is qualified. Typing test (qualifying only) is mandatory. Final merit is based on Paper-II marks for those who clear the typing test (Hindi typing in Mangal font).

🔹 Junior Stenographer (Hindi/English)
Selection involves a written exam and a qualifying stenography test. Only candidates who clear the skill test will be considered for the final merit list, based on the written exam.
